101 in 1001

I was inspired by Mackenzie Horan to create my own list of 101 things I want to accomplish in 1001 days. 1001 is 2.75 years, which would make me 26.5 years old.

Start Date: December 30, 2014
End Date: September 26, 2017 (I am so bad at math I just googled this. No shame. #nobodygottimeforthat)
  1. Figure out the rest of my 101!
  2. Read 100 books. I’m keeping track of this with goodreads! Check the left nav.
  3. Read five classic books.
  4. Host my own dinner party.
  5. Learn how to knit something more than a basic purl.
  6. Go to five concerts of my own choosing.
  7. Take the GRE (ugh).
  8. Which leads into, figure out between my three options which grad school route I want to take.
  9. Learn how to photoshop.
  10. Put away four paychecks for my savings/emergency fund.
  11. Get lasik (counterproductive of #10, oh well).
  12. Complete five different Pinterest craft projects. (One- rememberlution jar completed 1/3/15!)
  13. Sponsor five different blogs.
  14. Buy my own domain.
  15. Grow my Instagram followers to 500 (Currently 202 as of 12/30/14).
  16. Meet a favorite blogger in real life.
  17. Go to a meet-up.
  18. Participate in a Gamma Phi Beta alumnae event.
  19. Host a link-up.
  20. Write a guest post for another blog.
  21. Figure out my blogging routine.
  22. Host a blog or Instagram giveaway.
  23. Figure out SEO.
  24. Do a how-to makeup post.
  25. Plan all my posts two weeks out.
  26. Go to five museums in one summer.
  27. Learn how to perfectly parallel park and be confident about it.
  28. Host a board game night.
  29. Whiten my teeth (professionally or not).
  30. Get professional portrait photos taken.
  31. Run a 5K without stopping.
  32. Refrain from going out to eat for a whole two weeks.
  33. Do my own pedicures for six months in a row.
  34. Kiss in the rain.
  35. Meet a celebrity.
  36. Bake my own healthy dog treats.
  37. Take Starla in D.C. for a walk.
  38. Take Starla to a herding class or evaluation.
  39. Take Starla on a vacation.
  40. Go to a friend’s wedding.
  41. Be a bridesmaid in a wedding.
  42. Visit a friend in another state.
  43. Go to a vine festival.
  44. Take a road trip.
  45. Take a “girlfriends” vacation.
  46. Learn how to french braid.
  47. Grow my own herbs.
  48. Re-sole a pair of old boots.
  49. Go sailing.
  50. Learn how to fold fitted sheets.
  51. Get a promotion.
  52. Buy a cookbook and find a favorite recipe in it.
  53. Watch five classic movies.
  54. Learn how to salsa dance.
  55. Donate blood.
  56. Take a self-defense class.
  57. Take a barre class.
  58. Do one blogilates workout a day for one whole week.
  59. Visit five states I haven’t been to before.
  60. Make my own sangria.
  61. Cook for more than five people.
  62. Give a toast.
  63. Explore a new city by myself.
  64. Win a contest.
  65. Go one whole week TV free.
  66. Have breakfast in bed.
  67. Go to a rave.
  68. Do a juice cleanse.
  69. Master how to walk in stilettos.
  70. Buy a nice piece of furniture that is not from Ikea or Target.
  71. Buy myself a wine rack.
  72. Take a spontaneous weekend trip.
  73. Find the perfect lipstick.
  74. Reconnect with our foreign exchange student.
  75. Vote in a non-presidential election.
  76. Join a book club.
  77. Go to a chiropractor and get an alignment.
  78. Pay off my credit cards.
  79. Complete Duolingo in Spanish.
  80. Make five rememberlutions and put them in the jar!
  81. Make a scrapbook of college memories.
  82. Surprise C for a date.
  83. Find a mentor.
  84. Make dinner 7 days in a row.
  85. Reorganize/refresh my desk.
  86. Go to the Opera or Ballet.
  87. Attend a fashion show.
  88. Sew/hem something without my mom’s help.
  89. Learn how to play poker.
  90. Make a brand new 101 in 1001 list once finished!
Stay tuned as I work on my 101 in 1001 list! Some of these were inspired by Mackenzie’s list, but that’s because they were good ones. Most of them are my own. I’ll update the list and cross them off as I go.
